I am officially calling this a newsletter. I think it’s the appropriate word for a post in which you share what’s going on in your life/business, yes? As I’m envisioning my third Golden Gate project (triangles!), I feel compelled to share why there will be a slight delay in its completion.
And it’s all good.
First of all, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be filming several classes with Creativebug this upcoming month! The classes will be small sewing projects that will be perfect for a weekend project or a summer afternoon. Stay tuned for more on that very soon:)
Secondly, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be a vendor at the Patchwork Show Oakland on May 10th! For those of you who have never been, it’s an indie craft fair that takes place in three locations (Santa Ana and Long Beach are the other venues) and is organized by Nicole and Delilah of Dear Handmade Life, otherwise known as the organizers of Craftcation, my favoritest of favorite conferences! The Patchwork Shows truly reflect a spirit of community and handmade that is a far cry from the overwhelm you might experience at a larger craft fair. I hope you’ll come see me on May 10th in Jack London Square. It’s free to attend!
And lastly, I’m heading to Paducah, Kentucky next week. That’s right. I’m heading to the big old fat quilting conference, otherwise known as AQS Quiltweek! I’m excited to go with my mom and my aunt, who are, for lack of another word, CELEBRITIES there. If you don’t believe me, check out whose quilt is front and center at the National Quilt Museum! I will report back with stories.
Oh, and also, I’ll be going to my first baseball game of the season with my dad in Detroit! I do love baseball.
Exciting stuff! I’m feeling very grateful. Keep up with it all here or on Instagram, because there is even MORE exciting stuff to share in the near future. Hope to see you soon!
